Ahmad is focusing on various research projects of UK INDEMAND Centre relevant to material efficiency in manufacturing.Prior to joining UK INDEMAND, he has submitted a PhD thesis in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His PhD research focused on material, energy and cost efficiency in the design of engineering structures, life cycle assessment and strategies for impact reduction, biaxial characterization of anisotropic composite material and performance of thin cylinder structure under non-uniformly distributed loading. Earlier he was graduated with an MSc in Manufacturing from the same university and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
