Feifei graduated from Tsinghua University in Civil Engineering in 2009 and subsequently completed a three-year Master program in Structure Engineering in 2012. During his master program, Feifei focused on the human-induced vibration of lightweight footbridge with GFRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer).
Feifei joined theto attempt a PhD degree and are currently under Dr Janet Lees' supervision. His research topic is Time-Dependent Behaviour of RC Beam Strengthened with CFRP Straps.
Feifei is focusing on the long term shear behaviour of RC beam strengthened with pre-stressed CFRP straps. Some decomposed topics in this area are currently being researched.
- Time-dependent shear deformation and flexural deformation;
- Time-dependent shear transfer on the shear cracks;
- Development of shear theories with time-dependency;
- Time-dependent load-sharing in the cracked shear beam.
