Part of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Future Infrastructure and the Built Environment, Melanie is researching the integration of urban farming to cities, by reusing wasted resources. She is a civil engineer, who graduated from Imperial College in 2015, after completing her Masters abroad at ETH Zurich, where she focused on hydrology and hydraulic engineering.
