All students and staff undertaking any form of practical work in any of our laboratories must read the following document on safety procedures and complete a risk assessment form: in addition, the use of hazardous substances is only permissible after completing a COSHH form. After risk assessments and/or COSHH forms have been approved, work may only begin when PDF copies are submitted to the group secretary. These copies will be placed in an on-line archive as a record of on-going practical work: please indicate a tentative finish date for the work.
