Biography

Dr Wei Tian's main research interest is energy use for buildings. He received his PhD degree from Tianjin University in 2006, working on interaction between building integrated photovoltaic, building energy use, and urban microclimate. Since then, his research has included building performance measurement and simulation, impact and adaptation to climate change in building thermal environment (EPSRC project), high-throughput computing for building simulation. Different statistical methods, such as uncertainty and sensitivity analysis, design of computer experiments, have been implemented to further analyse building energy use in his research.
