Congratulations to Will Hawkins, a PhD student in the Structures Research Group, who was awarded a prize at the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) Future of Design conference in Birmingham. Will won his prize for his presentation titled 'Thinshell concrete floors for sustainable buildings', after winning the audience vote in the Young Designer's competition.
